For Produce Inventory Control System (PICS) software implementations using lot control, we have added the ability to set the default product type for stock items. So you can now (for example) have new items added as Static Lot even if you run lot control. This is helpful where you do not run all items as lot controlled (i.e. packaging materials) and since you cannot change a regular lot item to a static lot item, it makes set up of new items easier than ever before.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
