Here are the updates we made to PICS during August:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Added code to the Bank Reconciliation screen such that you cannot add a new record if the previous one for that bank is open. When this is considered in conjunction with the fact that you cannot close a Bank Reconciliation if there is a difference, it means you must finish and close each one before moving onto a new one.<\/li>\n<li>Added phone # field to contact table and screen. This will allow you to record the contact&#8217;s phone # in their record. It is not used for anything else in PICS.<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced the reservation screen such that you can now reserve products which have not been received yet. Note that they must be on order.<\/li>\n<li>Adjusted the Production Board system to also include items where there had never been any transactions (i.e. new items).<\/li>\n<li>Increased the # of digits for qty\/pallet throughout the system to 5 (from 3).<\/li>\n<li>Made several minor enhancements to the Production Board screen.<\/li>\n<li>Converted the AP Remittance report to be user modifiable.<\/li>\n<li>Added hot keys to the PO Receiving screen. Alt-A will launch the Label printing in View Mode, and Add in Add\/Edit Mode. Alt-S is for the Save button and Alt-R is for the remove button. Note that in order to do this, we had to change the hot key for Receive All from Alt-R to Alt-V.<\/li>\n<li>Added a program to PICS whereby un-reconciled payments which were created on another system can be added to the PICS database for the purposes of including them in the bank reconciliation process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also make custom modifications to PICS to suit the nuances of every business.
