The topics covered in the workshop include food safety principles, an overview of the current regulatory landscape, the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and an introduction to quality assurance principles. Information is as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dates and times<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Day 1 &#8211; October 20, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Day 2 \u2013 October 21, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Day 3 \u2013 October 22, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note: attendance at all three sessions is required to complete the course. <a href=\"https:\/\/ssl.cpma.ca\/secure\/FoodSafety\/FoodSafety_Workshop_Oct2020.php\">Click here to register for the October workshop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>2020 Fall Harvest and more&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>CPMA and the Canadian Horticultural Council (CHC) have announced the 2020 Fall Harvest event will be proceeding in a virtual format. The leading advocacy event for the Canadian fruit and vegetable industry will take place the same week as originally planned, from November 2-5, 2020.
