We’re really excited to welcome back programmer\/analysts, Denis Kharlamov [denis@waudware.com] and Aaron Poulin [aaron@waudware.com] as they continue the rewrite of PICS (Produce Inventory Control System) software into Java. The rewrite analysis project has been completed by intelliware<\/a> of Toronto, and Denis and Aaron are now working through the recommendations.<\/p>\n

We have a working prototype, with about 10 screens that we can demonstrate. The prototype works against SQL server (and Foxpro), which is consistent with our plan. We are evaluating the pros and cons of staying with Stonefield Query (PRE) for reports or switching to Jasper Reports.<\/p>\n
