VPICS Launch
WaudWare launched a virtual version of Produce Inventory Control System (PICS) software called VPICS offering touch screen access. This was used by customers in their receiving and production areas to easily enter the data into the system while the product was being received/packed. 2008 – 2015
WaudWare Golf Tournament
One of our most notable contributions was the WaudWare Invitational Golf Tournament, held from 2008 to 2015 in support of the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation. Over the years, the Golf Tournament raised close to $40,000. Each year, the annual grant distributed from the WaudWare Endowment Fund is allocated as follows: (a) a designated portion is directed to Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning (or its successor) to support a bursary and/or scholarship for a student pursuing studies in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field. Another designated portion is allocated to the Salvation Army Honeychurch Family Life Resource Centre in Brampton, in support of their ongoing programs and services.

2020
Commitment to Giving Back
We take great pride in our success and our commitment to giving back to the community. For several years we were partnered with Mike & Mikes delivering fresh produce to the Ste. Louise Outreach center in Brampton. Since 2020, WaudWare—partnering with Ralph Pitt Produce in Walkerton—has actively participated in the Helping Hands Initiative, delivering fresh fruits and vegetables every other month to the Owen Sound Salvation Army, which then distributes the food to regional food banks. Prior to this, we supported the Salvation Army Honeychurch Family Life Resource Centre through direct donations.
2022
WaudWare Joins the GrubMarket Family
Over the years, we’ve earned awards, nominations, and recognition in business and industry publications, but what we value most is the impact our incredible support team has had on businesses across the fresh produce industry, from family-run shops to large-scale enterprises. Since our humble beginnings in 1989, we’ve grown into a thriving company that has attracted strong interest from investors and partners. In 2022, WaudWare proudly joined the GrubMarket family of outstanding businesses.
