In addition to the new PICS feature, Vendor’s Approval Certificate , designed to help you easily track certifications required as per the FDA’s new Food Safety Act, the WaudWare Support Team made these updates to our inventory, buying and selling, production, growing, brokerage, accounting, security and management information software, known as Produce Inventory Control System (PICS). Here are February’s updates and enhancements:
- Added code to the Load Confirmation Report to create records even if there are no lines on the PO(s).
- Enhanced the Exchange rate history display to show the time of the change in a more “user-friendly” format.
- Increased the # of digits you can enter in the repack screen. It can now accommodate up to 99,999,999.99
- Added a status field to the Bank table and screen so that Bank accounts which are no longer used can be made inactive.
- Added code to the Sales Order screen such that if you try to Create A/R and the sales order’s problem flag is checked, you will be asked if you really want to Create A/R for it.
- Added code to the Purchase Order screen such that if you try to Create A/P and the purchase order’s problem flag is checked, you will be asked if you really want to Create A/P for it.
- Removed the requirement for the Barcode Inventory update program to require all users to exit PICS. This program can now be run while other users are in PICS, PRE, VPICS and/or WebPICS.
- Changed the stock adjustment screen layout to show description 1 and 2 instead of Variety, Size, Package and Grade.
