We’ve added two optional enhancements to PICS software that make posting customer payments faster and easier.
- Automatic Posted Deposits: PICS can now automatically create a posted deposit when you save customer payments.
- Automatic Payment Amount: When there’s only one outstanding invoice, PICS will automatically fill in the payment amount for you.
Fewer keystrokes. Less manual entry. Faster payment processing. What’s not to love about that!
If you do a lot of one-off receipts or deposits, we suggest you enable both options.

More PICS enhancements we made in June:
- Enhanced Sales Order Label printing such that you can have custom layouts by customer, and you can set up the layout in the customer record, so PICS will automatically print the correct one.
- Enhanced Variety screen such that you can now change the category a variety belongs to. Also enhanced the variety list to show the category description.
