Team England travelled to Canada to compete in the Women’s Lacrosse World Cup held in Oshawa, Ontario from July 10 – 20, 2013. Since England’s weather (usually) varies from ours, it was requested that they play some exhibition games so they experience playing in Ontario weather. The Brampton Women’s Lacrosse team with some outside help, completed the roster of 15 players, sponsored by WaudWare Incorporated, makers of Produce Inventory Control System (PICS) software.
WaudWare sponsored the team jerseys for the exhibition match against England, held Saturday, July 6th at McMaster University. Team England truly showed why they are, in fact, Team England… closing out the match with a stunning score of 21-2. Great sportsmanship was exhibited by both teams. The Brampton Women’s Lacrosse team was thrilled to help Team England get some games in before World Cup.
