How We Made PICS Software Even Better Last Month
- We have added a Selling/Number of Months for Duplicate Customer PO # check to PICS. If this is filled, and the customer is set up to not allow duplicate PO numbers, then PICS will only check back for this number of months when looking for a duplicate. Default is zero which means that this will not be used.
- PICS 3.0 will now display the details on the Added/Changed/Status screen (the one you get when you click the “i” icon in the bottom right corner of PICS maintenance screens). This powerful new PICS feature may need further refinement, but it’s worth noting that it will show all the information which was saved when the record was added on the top row, and then all the edits to the record (c/w before and after data) are below that. It doesn’t display deletes, because, well, the record has been deleted. Also, please be aware that this feature is only for records added/edited after this feature was created (July 2025). Add/edit details for data which already existed prior to this new feature will not be shown.
- PICS 3.0 now has the ability to flag individual Sales Order lines as having a problem. Previously only the header could be flagged.
- PICS 3.0 now has the ability to flag individual Purchase Order lines as having a problem. Previously only the header could be flagged.
- We have added a new “Number of days back for list” system control for the sales order list. If you set it to 3 (for example), then the list will only show sales orders for the last 3 days, regardless of which filter you choose. This is in PICS 3.0 only.
