GrubMarket, a leader in AI-powered technology for the food supply chain, has been awarded the 2025 ‘Sustainability in the Food Industry Award’ by The Shelby Report.

This accolade highlights GrubMarket’s significant contributions to sustainability through its Sustainable California initiative, launched in 2023. The initiative is designed to restore ecosystems, support under-served farmers, and preserve California’s agricultural environment.

GrubMarket’s efforts include a large-scale reforestation project in partnership with One Tree Planted, which has resulted in the planting of over 130,000 native trees in areas affected by drought and wildfires. Additionally, the company supports socially disadvantaged farmers in transitioning to organic agriculture through the CCOF Organic Transition Program, providing grants and technical support to help achieve USDA organic certification.

In 2025, GrubMarket also offered its AI-powered software solutions, such as WholesaleWare ERP and GrubAssist AI, free of charge to farms impacted by wildfires, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability.
