We pride ourselves in making PICS ERP Software better every month. Here are the enhancements we made to PICS in November:
- The time entry rule for Sales Orders has changed. The time must now be entered in an HH:MM format, and use “Military” time (i.e. 1:00 p.m. is 13:00). The time can also be left blank if desired.
- The wildcard search has been refined such that you can make changes to it while searching, and it will refresh for each change you make. For example, in the stock list, if you type *pot la (for large potatoes), you will see everything in the list which has pot and la somewhere in the description. If you backspace the la, then the list will refresh to show everything with pot.
- We have enhanced the Add/Change inquiry such that when you are in a parent/child screen (like sales orders, purchase orders, work orders etc.), if you click the button when this list is selected, you will get the information for just the selected line. If you click it when something other than the list is selected, you will get information for the parent record.
- We have added a new Administration/Pick List Search Timeout system control. This allows you to set the amount of seconds that the search phrase you type in the header of a column in the pick list stays there. The default is 5 and if you set it to 0 (zero) it will not be cleared. Note that it also gets cleared when you go to a different column.
