Recent Updates to PICS
- The lists in PICS 3.0 now support “wildcard” searches. When you type in a phrase preceded by an asterisk (like *RED) PICS will filter the list to show only rows where the phrase appears somewhere in the column you searched.
- We added a new Accounting/Fill Next Cheque No system control. If you set it to Y, PICS will automatically fill in the cheque # when printing cheques.
- The Barcode Scanning capabilities in PICS 3.0 for PO Receiving are done now. The new scan field is on the Purchase Order and Purchase Order Receiving screen. If you scan (or type) in a PO #, or scan a label from a product on it, and if there hasn’t been any receiving against it yet, you will be asked if you want to receive all lines. PO Receiving has never been easier!
- Over the past few months we have been adding Barcode Scanning capabilities to PICS 3.0. We have it finished and working in Sales Order Shipping and Stock Adjustments. We are in the process of adding it to PO Receiving and Work Order Posting now. Please contact us for further information and/or a demo.
- Back in December 2022, we increased the size of the estimated profit percent field to allow it to go up to 100.00. Today we added code such that if you have any stock items set to 99.99, they were changed to 100.00 and the corresponding sales order lines were also changed.
- We added a new system control and code to allow you to configure EmFx to suppress company information in body of EmFx emails.
