Wondering how you can protect your PICS ERP software?
On the PICS server, have your IT provider arrange to:
- Make sure no email clients (like Outlook) are installed/used
- All web browsing is blocked, except for PICS Help and any other websites deemed critical to PICS software usage
- RDP Access to the server is restricted to a specific list of IP addresses (and this list should only include WaudWare, your IT provider, and any users allowed to work remotely
- Use OpenVPN or equivalent to ensure only trusted users can access the system
