Dispute Resolution Corporation

Friday, June 22nd – 1:00 p.m. EDT. Click here to register
The Dispute Resolution Corporation (DRC) has been facilitating the successful mediation of buyer / seller disagreements within the produce industry for many years. Inclusion in their membership has always been on a voluntary basis, but this will be changing when the SFCR comes into force. DRC will be presenting information on the changes contained within the SFCR, the affect this may have on trading partners and how they plan to continue supporting the industry. This webinar will be an excellent opportunity to ask DRC questions on how the changes may affect your business.

Safe Food for Canadians / Food Safety Modernization and GFSI

Friday, June 29th – 1:00 p.m. EDT. Click here to register
In addition to the SFCR, the industry is just beginning to experience the ripples of the U.S. Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The realization on how these two new regulatory regimes will affect individual businesses has begun to take hold within the North American. Fortunately, the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certification bodies (CB) have been hard at work comparing the new regulations with the GFSI schemes they work with to understand how the schemes dovetail nicely with many requirements within SFCR and FSMA. During this webinar we will have a CB briefly review the various GFSI schemes and then show how, as a certified organization, you are already well on your way to compliance.
