The over-arching theme for this years’ event will focus on our industry’s competitiveness.
Meetings are proven to work. Last year, the meetings led to several recommendations being included in the House of Commons Finance Committee’s pre-Budget report to the Finance Minister, just one month after Fall Harvest 2017. A similar degree of traction this year is planned, as we raise the profile of the fresh produce industry and its issues.
Industry teams will meet with elected officials and high level civil servants to communicate the message. Your participation as a delegate or sponsor is the key to success in elevating the voice of the produce industry above the many vying for the attention of our government.
This will be the last Fall Harvest before the 2019 general election.
Registration is now open. Don’t delay, as hotel room blocks will only be retained until Friday, October 5, 2018 or until sold. For more information, contact Troy Sherman at email@example.com or 613-226-4187 x227.
