Not only do we provide exceptional technical support for customers using our Produce Inventory Control System (PICS) software, Web-Based Produce Inventory Control System (WebPICS) software, and Custom Programming, we also provide outstanding software support by developing improvements and enhancements to PICS and WebPICS.
Here are the newest updates to our software.
- More space for comments. We have increased the size of the comments area in the stock adjustment screen.
- More information for picking slips. We have expanded the information which can be printed on the picking slip to include all the information for substituted stock items.
- Better way to start PICS Report Engine (PRE). We have added the ability to start the PICS Report Engine (PRE) from PICS via a “startpre.bat” file. One of the reasons you might want to do this is to cause it to run in a /LOW Windows Priority Mode. This will cause PRE to run in a way where it uses less resources, and therefore will not impact other users as much.
- Want to print cheques? We have added code to the Make Cheques Screen such that when it is finished, it will come up and ask if you wish to print cheques.
- How much history do I have? We have added a “How much history do I have” button to the AR, AP, SO and PO History Delete screens. This will allow you to see how many items you have in each month of each year. It will assist in planning for how much history to delete, and how long it will take to do so.
- New System Control. We have added a system control to prevent or allow users to create a credit sales order from an un-invoiced sales order.
