We are committed to improving PICS software every day. Here are the improvements we made to PICS during December:
- Re-enabled an old feature whereby you can configure the sales order screen to check whether a price is above cost, or greater than a multiple of cost. For example, if average cost is $5.00, and the “Below cost multiplier” is 1.2, the price must be $6.00 or more ($5 x 1.2). And for the “Above cost multiplier”, if you set it to 3, and the average cost is $5.00, the price would have to be less than $15.00 ($5 x 3).
- Significantly enhanced the Customer Transaction report.
- Added a new Administration – Current Row Indicator Thickness system control. This allows you to configure how thick the border around the current row in the lists is. The default is 3 (which is how PICS has been up until now), 6 will double that thickness, which we feel is about the biggest you will want. 0 (zero) turns it off.
- Added a new Accounting/Allow Multiple AP Vouchers Per PO. If set to Y, users will be allowed to create additional AP Vouchers from the same Purchase Order. An example of this would be where you receive product and do a Create AP for all of it. Then you return some, and want to do another Create AP for the product you returned.
- Improved Attachment handling in PICS 3.0 to handle long file names.
- Added expiry date field to Purchase Order, Work Order, Repack and Stock Lot screen, and supporting code.
