Here’s a new time saving enhancement in our Produce Inventory Control System (PICS) software specifically to the Purchase Order receiving screen. If there is only one line on the Purchase Order, the item will be automatically filled for the user.
We improved the Produce Inventory Control System (PICS) software, specifically the Purchase Order receiving screen. The quantity (qty) to be received will now be auto-filled.
We have enhanced the Create PO from SO feature in PICS such that you can now create either a Placed PO or a Received PO. Also, we added a system wide default buyer to the system controls, so you can set that up and you will never be prompted to enter a buyer again.
The Sales Order screen in PICS now allows you to remove lines, remove a shipment, and/or delete the entire Sales Order whether it has storage unit items, regular items or both.
We added code to “auto-post” inputs on work orders in PICS. When Work Order outputs are posted, if this new system control is enabled, the system will use the ratio of inputs to outputs from the Qty Exp of the work order, and automatically post inputs which are Static Lot, Non-Produce items and 100% distributed … Read more
We have added an OVERSHIPMENT message to the sales order shipping screen in PICS. If you ship more than the quantity ordered for the line, this message will appear.
We have added the ability to import future prices. You can create a CSV file in Microsoft Excel and import it. Please contact us if you want sample files. The PICS Help file contains more details on this.

We have added the ability to print reports to CSV files from PICS (Produce Inventory Control System) software. Now you can have reports in PDF, XLS or CSV formats.
PICS now has a new system control to allow administrators to set a number of months to keep audit logging history for. It can be set to 0 (zero) to turn off audit logging if desired.
We enhanced the Attachments system in PICS such that you can now view JPG files in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. To do so, in your PICS.INI file, for JPG, specify the program as shimgvw.dll (as in c:\windows\system32\shimgvw.dll)
If you’re using Willson International as a broker, you can now click a button on the Inbound Load screen of PICS which will gather all of the Confirmation of Sale data and seamlessly transmit it to Willson International.
